What's new, novel, & next 🦊

A sneak peek inside Chief of Stuff Magazine

Hi there!

It’s been a minute and I wanted to say a quick howdy/hi/hello! How are you doing? On my side, the start of the year started with a mad rush, but in the best way possible 😊 For the first time in a loooong time (3+ years) I’m healthy and energetic, which is a stark contrast from where I was this time last year. I’ll share my full journey in the future, but in 2022 I had two goals - rebuild my immune system and publish a magazine. While I managed to do both, I must admit that it was so much harder than I anticipated - in fact, it was tremendously challenging. There’s no way that I could’ve accomplished either without the help of many wonderful people, reinforcing that it really does take a village to reach your goals. And certainly not without your support! I have crossed paths with so many new and amazing people in the past year - at events, parties, talks, classes and through friends. I am so excited to have you on this journey and appreciate your willingness to receive knowledge in this way. Just know that I don’t take it lightly.

Which brings me to today. We published the third issue in December and it’s one that I’m particularly proud of because the pages are graced by incredible people! Having the opportunity to connect and share the insights from Barnaby, Ingrid, Niklas, Gabriel x2, Guilherme, Julie, and “The Flatmates” is what makes Chief of Stuff so fulfilling. If you haven’t had a chance to read it, I encourage you to check out issue #3 here. We also created a customized playlist inspired by the articles inside. It’s a bit random and fun, but we love music - so why not! You can listen on either Apple Music or Spotify.

Lately we’ve had many conversations about the importance of “time” and now with generative AI are curious what that means for all of us. So for the next issue we’re exploring how we can “use our resources wisely” and in typical COS fashion are putting our own special spin on things. Save the date - Issue #4 will be released on Tuesday March 21st just in time for the Spring Equinox.

The magazine is just one important piece in a much larger puzzle. We’re also building out an entirely new home dedicated to Chief of Stuff and will be illuminating other authors and creators that are creating great STUFF. I have big plans for Chief of Stuff and look forward to sharing more in the coming months. For now, I hope that you enjoy the magazine, follow us on Instagram and TikTok, and invite others to follow along. Word of mouth is the best endorsement and we would love to share our work and words with more people! In the meantime, stay curious and thank you 🦊🧡.

With gratitude,
Sarah
